Commemorative Poster Artist - Rene Eisenbart
Rene Eisenbart has been an illustrator for The Oregonian
for 23 years. Her work appears in the Home & Garden
section every Thursday.
Her work tends to be realistic but she likes to think
of it being more of an elegant caricature. "I try
to take some liberty with artistic impression while
staying true to my subject."
FRIDAY NIGHT SPEAKER - "Fluff & Feathers.......more
than meets the eye". Presented by Trish Nixon,
The World Center for Birds of Prey
Trish Nixon, Raptor Specialist for the Peregrine Fund’s

Author John Rakestraw will be at this year’s Flamingo
Fling to sign copies of his new book “Birding Oregon:
44 Prime Birding Areas with More Than 200 Specific Sites”

the major ecoregions in Oregon. All sites listed in
the book offer consistently good birding, are located
