WELCOME! ¡BIENVENIDOS!
We invite you to join us in Harlingen, Texas for our
exciting 15th Annual Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival.
This year's Festival promises to be as rewarding and
memorable as ever! With a combination of field trips,
workshops, seminars, keynote lectures, children's programs,
and a trade show, there is no doubt that there is something
for everyone!
As always, our dynamic programs and activities are
designed to be insightful as well as informative. Birding
anecdotes will have us laughing at the many adventures
birders experience in pursuit of their passion and maybe
even learn how to become better birders from some of
the best in the birding world. Backyard, novice and
veterans will all find something of interest. Birding
expertise will be expanded for backyard, novice, and
veteran birders alike.
Of course, there is no doubt that the number one reason
to attend the Festival is the opportunity to bird world-renowned
hotspots with some of the best leaders in the nation!
The Festival’s checklist consistently sports over 220
sightings each year and you never know when a rarity
might show up.

Welcome Reception
Join us for a Welcome Reception at the Harlingen Arts
& Heritage Museum on Wednesday, November 5 from
5:00-7:00 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be
provided by the Museum. This is a chance to meet fellow
Festival participants, speakers and field trip leaders!
